FanDuel Faceoff

I oversaw the launch of a brand new, zero-to-one app, FanDuel Faceoff.

Design Director

Business Impact :

30 Minute Average Session Lengths

Problem :

FanDuel identified a strategic opportunity to enter the casual skill market. We needed an app to do so.

Solution :

I oversaw the design from initial exploration to launch of the brand new, zero-to-one app FanDuel Faceoff. I tapped into three pillars:

Fresh Yet Familiar
Faceoff was a departure from our typical apps. I wanted our users to feel something new and different but also right at home.

Lean Into Competition
Our users love to compete - and to win. The design leaned into this idea emphasizing you're competing with other users and celebrating wins

Built For Growth
Features that led to growth - such as inviting others to a competition - were prioritized. I also made sure the design was flexible enough to handle games as we scaled.

Summary :

When shipped we launched

  • A brand new zero-to-one app

  • 30 minute average session lengths

  • Brough new customers to FanDuel
